Situated on the forefront of the Mackay Harbour Marina is a new masterplan proposal for a landmark mixed-used development that strengthens the relationship between the city and its waterfront. Forms comprising of five residential towers and a commercial office tower are arranged to ensure clear visual corridors to the sea and adjacent green spaces. The masterplan aims to maximize views, access to natural light and maintain strong visual connections to the marina and coastal landscape. The ground plane is conceived as a continuous active edge, reinforcing the harbour as a lively and accessible destination through day and night, with a focus centred on community activation and the creation of a welcoming waterfront destination.

Planned as a staged delivery, Mackay Harbour village aims to deliver a contemporary mixed-use environment that balances residential amenity, commercial activity & public life, giving the development its identity as a key, civic waterfront for Mackay.
